Development Finance Consultants
We are looking for several development finance experts to join our team of consultants to carry out Development Finance and Tax Assessment in various african countries. The Development Finance and Tax Assessment is a tool that we co-developed with the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD) to support governments identify their strengths and weaknesses and guide in the development and implementation of Integrated Financing Strategies and Plans (IFSPs) towards sustainable resource mobilization and financing for national development.
We are looking for specialists with the following Technical Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in Development Finance, Public Finance Management, Economics, Public Policy, Taxation or equivalent with sound statistical capabilities;
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in development finance consulting in the public sector and/or overall development financing, particularly in the global South and in Africa;
Proven experience in advising Governments, preferably Ministries of Finance and or Planning
Solid research experience in any of these fields: public finance, budget review and public expenditure review;
Advanced quantitative and econometric skills and experience, with related data collection and analysis capabilities;
Excellent analytical, methodological and written skills particularly in the production of socio-economic analytical documents;
Proven experience working with international, regional and national level institutions in public and/or private finance and development in Africa within the spheres of infrastructure, education, health, agriculture etc
